Want a small Busse. AMS??

I don't have any small Busse knives anymore. Had a few SAR 3s but sold them off. How do you guys like you Anniversary Mean Streets? Do you prefer another small Busse to carry EDC? What sheaths are you guys using for the AMS?
 
After handling the AMS, its good, but I'll stick with the Active Duty. Its been with me too long I guess. :) Love that knife
 
I liked my AMS so much as a piggy back to my NMFSH, that I ordered another with double liners and hand shaped scales. It really made a great knife incredible.

I need an NMFSH too, but that's another thread lol.
 
On my wish list, I have one small/carver (most likely an ABA or AMS but open), a mid-sized fighter (NMSFNO or maybe TLGB), and of course the big mama jammer chopper (probably an NMFBM, though I'd love a TTKZ).

Ideally there'd be TWO sets, one in satin with black/brown (coyote) G10 and a 'work' set in desert sage with sand canvas. I'm gonna need another job, though.
 
The AMS is my first and only Busse, so I don't exactly have anything to compare it to (though I'd love to score an Active Duty. They look diesel. Alas I have next to no disposable income) but I am a pretty big fan. It's a good all around size and feels comfortable even in my big ol' meat mittens.

Of my small Busse's the active duty's are my favorites. Any variant too. Bad , Mill active duty and Heavy active duty.
 
Say, anybody feel like trading me their Active Duty for my as of yet unused AMS :D
 
I really like my AMS great EDC. Currently use ChuddyBear sheaths for carry, Randal style sheath w/removable metal clip and a drop loop sheath w/protective flap. Great sheaths awesome fit and finish, really like them. I only kinda wish I got some liners added to AMS, but I guess that's another one I will have to order :) lol. I do have an AD that I use with a slick kydex belt sheath made by dericdesmond, really nice concealment wears awesome ! Both knives are great EDC but it's nice knowing an AMS is a phone call away.
 
I like the Pork Shanks, I have them in very special sheaths from Buy Brown and Okuden.
They fit in the mollie strips on all my packs :)
 
The Anniversary Mean Street is an awesome blade. I always have my Magnum Bear Cub or AMS with me as my EDC. Good luck with your decision! Let us know what you decide :D
 
I didnt even notice you without the avatar aaaa_cccc. That year comes around quick huh!

And i dont own any small Busse knives.... but i just had the pleasure of holding someones AD, and i love it!
 
The AD just molds itself into your hand huh. :)
 
The AMS is a great edc blade. I am gonna put it to use in deer camp as well if everything goes right.

I have had every small knife made except the original Skeleton Key and the Original Mean Street. The AMS has become my favorite now. I agree with Garth that the AMS is a perfect EDC.

It really is just about perfect for me, too. I love the texturing on the handles and the double cut treatment makes it very secure in my hands. I've got black paper micarta handles, I've not thought to myself at all that the black paper is slippery.

When I traded for my AMS, I had originally intended it to be my new EDC. As soon as it arrived my wife immediately fell in love with it and it ended up being her EDC, LOL...... :)

I guess that just means I'll have to try for one of these new AMS Military Overruns...... ;)
