want a small insingo badly, having trouble finding one. help?

hi all,
after wasting lots and lots of time looking at beautiful pictures, glowing reviews, etc, etc, i decided that i do in fact want to shell out for a CR knife. and the one i really want is a small Insingo. that's the blade that speaks to me. but i've been having a heck of a time trying to find one.

sorry for the noob questions, but here they are if anyone is feeling helpful:

1) are they a discontinued model, that why i can't find any? anyone know if more runs are planned in the future?

2) are they hard to come by, or am i just not looking in the right places?

thanks for the help, looking forward to breaking into CR knives. probably going to end up being an expensive new branch on the knife tree.... :)
 
Wow, I just noticed they are out. Just sign up for email notification so they will hit you up as soon as they get them in. I would think it would only be a week or 2
 
thanks for the quick reply. yep, i signed up for a notification email a couple of weeks ago, didn't hear anything, so started wondering if i was an idiot and didn't know they were out of production. glad to hear they usually have them in stock, hopefully i'll hear something soon!
 
knifeart is the only place you can look except the second hand market because it is a knifeart exclusive knife. Just wait for the email and jump when she is in stock! Seems very few Insingos are on the second hand market. It really is a great knife. Happy waiting! :)
 
Just wanted give a nod to the blade shape. As a first-time CR knife owner, that awesome mellow curve is what attracted me to the Insingo over the normal 21. Really is wonderful, great for slicing has proven itself to be my perfect EDC.
 
A large Insingo will be my next CRK knife for sure,,,I am also drawn to that blade shape.
 
You can purchase the Insingo direct from CRK now, just don't expect to be able to get anything other than what is offered at Knifeart.
 
medic, i must be deficient in the above the neck area - i looked again, don't see the insingo anywhere on the CRK website. the only sebenza i see available to order is the 21.

do i need to email them and special request it? thanks for the help.
guess i could also just email them and ask...:)
 
Yes, send them an email stating you'd like to purchase an Insingo. They started selling them after Jan 1 this year, when the KnifeArt exclusive deal expired. I still don't think other sites are carrying them, but you can order them direct from CRK.
 
Of course, I don't know what their order processing timeframe is, or if they'd fulfill your order before fulfilling Kknifeart's order, so who knows... you might just be as well off waiting for Knifeart to receive their shipment. From following their site though, I'm not sure they get more than one shipment of knives in each month, since they always have the "New knives for April, May, etc" link. Still, never hurts to ask CRK.

knifeart didn't have any when i looked. but Chris himself is making them a regular item. just call up Chris and he'll make you one. they're not posted on his site yet. but i was told by heather that they will be keeping this knife on the menu. same prices as large and small sebenzas.
i bought my insingo from knifeart but the smalls are out of stock.
