Need some help guys. How does a non US member become a gold member using credit card payment? From what I understand this is not possible?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If I remember correctly, I just used the normal signup page even tho it said i couldn't

Someone said there was a small chance it might not accept my credit card, but it did. So it was all good.

First click where it says "Upgrade your forums experience, and help support this site" at the top of the page. Then click where it says "If you are a Non-US Customer or are trying to buy someone else a membership you will not be able to use this automated system. Please click here"

Attention all Non-US customers - Because of extreme levels of international credit card fraud,
We no longer accept credit cards from non-US customers
All non United States orders must be pre-paid with money order or wire transfer.

Spark, can't we make this a little easier so people can do it without help???

Venomblade, it's okay, you can use an international credit card to buy a membership. Fortunately for us credit card thieves haven't figured out how valuable a Bladeforums membership is.
 
That's in the FAQ too. PayPal are antis. :thumbdn:

Besides there would be no point, since you can use your credit card directly.
 
Remember, you will have to go to your User CP and down the left side to Group Memberships to join the Gold member group, once your Gold status goes through.

All of this is covered in the FAQ. It even states that credit cards are accepted for international customers.

How long does it normally take to get access to Gold Membership option in Group Memberships once the membership is paid?

I am very excited about my upgraded membership and it is long overdue! :thumbup:

congrats! Its kind of weird at first to see your name in gold. I can't say how long it takes because I mailed it as a money order.
