Want to customize my 560

Hello! I am new to this website and wish to get some information. I recently purchased a buck 560 at a local gunshop for $73 with tax. It is a 560 with an upside down u. I would like to have a BG-42 blade installed and was curious as to were I would have this done and what the cost would be? Also were would I get a thumb stop to install on this knife. Is there any way to lighten the tension on the blade so it could be flicked open easyer without comprimising saftey on lock up! Why are these knives not made any more? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Buck will put a blade on in BG-42 for $35.00. Here's a tip when you send it to them just put BKI(Buck Knives Inc.) on the package. They are great knives.

Can't help you with the tension or the thumbstud, but someone will be around that can. Enjoy your knife. Preston

A 560 w/BG 42 and a stud is my EDC, has been for 18 or so months, mention the tension issue when you send it in.
