Hey everybody, I've been MIA for a little while. It all started last month (July) I wrecked off a 30 or 40 ft. Embankment flipping and rolling ending up on a RR track. Had nine broken ribs and collapsed lung. They cut me out of the truck flew me to the trauma center where I stayed in intensive care for a couple weeks. Well they did CT scans and found more than twenty lymphoma that have tested positive for Non Hodgkin's lymphoma. They wouldn't do surgery on my hernia because they said the chemotherapy would destroy the mesh. But everyone is telling me to be in a good mood because if it wasn't for the wreck they would have never found the cancer. Yaaay. Ok that's all. Thanks for the ear.

I Apparently have to update my gold membership to post pics. I thought I had it figured out.

As a registered user, you can post pictures using a picture hosting site. Once you have uploaded a picture to the hosting site, copy the web address of the picture. Note: picture web addresses must end in .jpg or .gif

Then go to your post and click the image tool on the toolbar next to the smiley tool. Click the link icon in the popup. (Looks like a chain.) Paste the picture address into the window. Then click the INSERT button.

GasMan1,
Good Luck!
I Got in a wreck ten years ago July 9th(at 54). I was in a coma for three weeks , broke 20+ bones and had my lower left leg cut off . I'm still recovering. Went back to work after six months and three weeks though. I used My Kids as motivation ...Hard to tell them to be disciplined and work hard sitting on the couch collecting disability. You'll find what works for You.
Get ready for a new normal. Life is still Good.
Edit: Oh yea, that's what brought me here. Not a computer guy or typist.

You're stronger than this. Keep your head up. Keep moving forward. You are going to be in a drastically different place mentally and physically in a year. Don't focus on the negative in each day, but take it day by day. Before you know it, things will be better.

Think positively. Continue to be strong. Glad you're still here man

Best wishes for a speedy recovery! That sounds like an awful wreck, but I guess there is a silver lining with the discovery.

I appreciate it. That's true we would have never known if not for them doing that scan after the wreck.
