I just love Spyderco knives, and would
like to know is Spyderco the originator of
One-hand-open feature? pocker clip?
serrarion? any more?.....
I would like to hear any story ,history
of Spyderco.
Where to get these info.?
 
Try the new Spyderco book.If you do a search there are several places to order it.
 
Alan - Spyderco has quite a few "firsts" in the knife industry. As mentioned, the
"Spyderco Story" has most of this info. some examples:

1st production one hand opener (other than auto) 1981 (Worker C01)

1st knife to have the current "clothing clip" 1981 (Worker C01)

1st folding knife to use (succesfully) serrations. 1982 (Mariner/Paramedic C02)

1st to use G-10 in production ( Terzuola C-15)

1st to use VG-10, ATS-55, CPM-440V, AUS-10 in production knives. (1st ATS-34 in US production).

1st production linerlock with detent (Terzuola C-15)

just a few.
