Want to make knife handles??

Hello all

My name is Gregg and I am a pen maker and want to get into making wooden handle for fixed and lock back knives. My question is where do I begin?

How do you make the knife handles?
Wheres the best place for information?
Any good books out there?
Best place for inexpensive knives to start with?

As for books.

I recommend:

"How To Make Your Own Knives" By Jim Mayes

and

"Step by Step Knife Making" by David Boye.

Both of these got me started on my way to knife making and both should be available through Amazon.com
