Want to polish some edges

I have a few blades I want a mirror edge on. I have never done this before, is sounds like I need to strop them. So I could use some direction on which strops to get for different types of steels from s30v, vg10 down to aus8 and 440. Any links to what I need would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, that would be the polished edge section. Sharpening is considered maintenance, well because that is what needs to be done when a knife gets dull, or keep it from getting there.
