Sneaky yes? If I'd asked if you wanted to see my new BK-2 no one would have bothered. But, a vintage Heuer and my new BK-2, that is something special.

You will have to scroll down to see the watch.

It's not like my Suunto Core but... just kidding, great watch :)
Btw,you need to get custom sheath for your trainwrecker,or at least get rid of that nylon and put on tec-lock. And that's just for start on playing with you BK2 :)

damn.

I've already looked at sheaths. They cost more then the fricken knife!!! But, yes, I can see lots of possibilities.

Tell us about the Cammenga, US Mil? Tritium?

The watch is a Heuer Autavia built in the 1980's , before Heuer was bought by the TAG group. There were not a lot of them made so I doubt many, if any, saw actual military use.

Nice watch for sure!! How old is your Heuer? I have one from the mid-60's. Not as pretty as yours though!

Cammenga! not the watch, the compass!

Although, I definitely understand your exictment about the watch, it's stunning!

Oh, the compass. :o I can't say I know anything about the compass. It's just a photo prop to me. I bought it recently when I could not find the one I bought at the Army Surplus store in the 60's.

Edit: It's not a Cammenga. Probably a Chinese knock-off.

This one is from the 80's. I have a few others. What model do you have?... Pictures?

Here's my Carrera Heuer which I bought in about 1966 from the Rhein Main BX near Frankfurt Germany. And also my BK2. I really did not spend all that much money for the watch back then but have been told a couple of times by a local jeweler who carries these watches that the price for today's equivalent watch is way up there!!

And FWIW this one (the watch, not the BK2) went through at least one year in Vietnam.

That is a very nice Carrera. Not only is an equivalent expensive, but yours is worth a bundle to a collector. Treasure it!!

I hate to say it but the watches (lifts lower jaw) are eclipsing the knives o. This thread by a long shot.

Nothing nicer than seeing a "tag" without the tag on the face lol.

I've managed to lose or break all my vintage watches - probably because they were of questionable quality to begin with.
Both the above Heuer's are awesome.
OP - How big is that Autavia? It makes your trainwrecker look like a tweener!

It's big for a vintage watch. Quite a bit bigger then the Carrera. The Autavia is 42mm by 48mm.

Thought I'd put the BK-2 to work this W/E. Here is a pile of little ones made from one big one.
