There's a new Military at Blade HQ for sale now in limited quantities. Not for me but wanted to share.

If it weren't a tip down only this would be an easy buy ... but that one factor has kept it from ever being attractive to me.

Not many discussions on this knife here. Who is buying it? First impression? Shall I buy one and do a blade swap with my spare cf/ti s90v Military?

I'm thinking of doing a swap with a regular s30v black Millie, so I can have a blacked Millie with a DLC M4 blade.

Cool. Please show some pix after you are done with that.

Somehow, this natural jade color has become my least favorite. This Millie will be sick if the g10 were dark red color.

I tried dying some jade scales with crimson red RIT dye, turned out purple...:confused::confused:

The jade takes on royal blue RIT dye perfectly though...you'd never even know it was jade.

The color looks great  The patina on the blade is great too :thumbsup: How did you do it? I am submerging the blade of my Police 4 in hot vinegar right now.:D Will see how it goes.

That was my hotdog patina. Ketchup, mustard and pickle relish. Dabbed it on with a wadded up napkin, let it sit for an hour, rinsed it off and then dabbed in oil.

OK. I got mine out of vinegar after 20 minutes. Saw blackish/yellowish color on the blade. Rinsed it and then rubbing alcohol cleaned. Now just dabbed yellow mustard on it and let it hang there.
