I got a Becker Necker last week at a gun show and after almost a week of carry, I've decided to wrap the handle with some black 550 cord. The problem is, though, that I don't have any experience in doing this.

Anyone have any tips, pointers, ideas on what would be the best way to wrap the handle on this Becker?

The above site illustrates the very basic 'whipping' method, a single-layer wrap with disappearing ends, which I used on my Becker Necker. I used paracord. Another poster suggested rawhide, which I may try.

You may have a problem (I did), with wraps slipping off the rounded butt profile of the handle. That problem is quickly solved with a couple of drops of Super Glue.

Hope this helps!

Hi Kbr. I'm Not Too Great At The Cord Wrap, Butget Plenty Of Cord You Can Cut It Later.i Threaded It Through The Hole At The Bottom Near The Spine And Then The Top Handle Hole And Left A Foot Or So The Rest I Just Wrapped Round Until I Got To The Top Handle Cut Out Then Tied Wrapped Off Before Passing Through The Lower Hole On The Handle. Tied The Two Tales Off And Had A Lanyard As Well.sorry Don't Have Pics Have A Look At The Other Sites Mentioned And Try It Out. You Will Get Something You Can Work With I Did And I Don't Have A Clue. How Do You Like The Necker, I Love Mine It's A" Little Big Knife".
