I got a Becker Necker last week at a gun show and after almost a week of carry, I've decided to wrap the handle with some black 550 cord. The problem is, though, that I don't have any experience in doing this.

Anyone have any tips, pointers, ideas on what would be the best way to wrap the handle on this Becker?

Thanks :D

There are many ways to wrap a Handle. Try experimenting for a while and you may come up with something that we haven't seen.

There is the round the handle wrap that is the most basic, Try the Strider Knives website for instructions on how they wrap thier knives. I have done a in and out on the CRKT Kiss for several guys that resembles lacing your shoes. It came out really cool and the BK 11 looks like it would work.

Do a search with words like Paracord Wrap, Handle Wrap, Handle Wrapping....

I found a few hits.

Thanks for the tips, Gadget54, but I think that I'll go with the cutout wood handles.....one of these days when I have the time, I'll get around to it. I think that having a small storage compartment would really come in handy.

Make sure that storage compartment is big enough to carry several feet of paracord. :D

No really the reason for a wrapped handle is the cord. Get a good sheath for it or pouch to carry your kit in. What happens when you take the handle off to 'survive' and you lose a screw? Do you really want to remove the handles over and over just to get out another fish hook or a piece of line?
