wanted:(2) throwing 'hawks (no vietnam ones please)

There are a lot of fine choices. If you give us a price range & how long you are willing to wait, it will help to narrow it down a bit.

I have an HB forge Shawnee I like alot. Its a relatively primitive one. Forged head, hickory handle. But it only cost me a little over 30 bucks. Good learner (and user!!). They're worth a try if youre into the early types. www.hbforge.com NW

I have an new Allan Foundry Mnf. CAST, not forged (sorry about my earlier miss-print) steel hawk. It is black and has never been thrown or sharpened. I have another that I brushed to a satin finish - it is my favorite thrower. I will mail you the hawk and 2 extra hickory handles for $50 shipped if you like...I just can't resist helping a new thrower get their hands on a good hawk.

*Note, the hawk in the picture is an image I got from somewhere...it is not the actual hawk I have...but it is nearly a dead-ringer for it.

Also, you can check out this recent link for a discssion of Allan Foundry hawks.
