Hi there, HI guys!
I'm freelance writer for our local knife magazine. I'm working on an article about various push daggers. I would like to illustrate part about katars with some examples of modern made katars. So I'll greatly appreciate hi-res (300 dpi) scanned photos of HI katar. Also precise specs such as steel and other materials used, dimensions and weight.

I second this. We could use a hi-res photo for the HI site itself. If someone can take a good photo, but doesn't have a scanner, I can scan it in. Actually, this goes for any of the HI items as I would like to put up higher-res photos. I may be contacted by email for contact details for those interested.

I hereby volunteer to take a wonderful, High-resolution picture of a katar and forward it. There is one small, almost silly technical problem though, I don't *have* a katar. If anyone would like to send one to me, perhaps with a Malla or 18" Sirupati to keep it company, this project could be done to everyone's satisfaction. Well, at least to mine...:p

heh

PS: I am notoriously absent minded so please try to understand if it takes twenty years to get them back.

I think Big Bob actually has one also, IIRC.

I have a katar but my photography and computer skills totally suck.

I _do_ know a professional photographer down here, though admittedly it might take us a while to get the whole thing set up.

Still interested?

-Dave
