WANTED: Maroon Micarta - slabs or sticks...

Or whatever is close... I know we've got a supplies and tools forum but no one is ever over there. I need maroon color though, not that queer looking candy apple red stuff. Texas Knifemaker's has none; anyone with a clue where to get slabs or sticks of this stuff?? I'd also like some canvas or rag stuff too!

You check with Sheffield, Mitch? They've still got it listed, and it USED to be actual maroon, I know. pp 28, their online catalog.

Unfortunately, maroon linen micarta was discontinued a few years ago. This was the final straw in us choosing to drop most micartas and switch to G10. If you like maroon linen micarta buy it when you find it.

Rag micarta was discontinued a long long time ago.

just ordered the maroon from sheffields and i'm happy with it. nice dark color
