I'm waiting for Newgraham to hunt one down so I can get it cheaper. anyways,there were several instances where I could have used my Miss.A.
Here's a few...
....no string to tie up trash bag... could have used Miss.A's sewing thread
....had a hard time starting fire... could have used Miss.A's perfume bottle
with fire starter in it (yeah, fire starter,
perfume is useless)
....no flash light....Miss.A has a small flash light
....Brett made a comment about "not seeing a mirror all weekend, so he
couldn't check his hair" well, now his problem will be solved when
he's with me....Miss.A has a mirror!!

I'm always looking for a mirror too, but can never find one, well, very soon, I will never have to search again, because MISS.ARMY'S GOT IT!!!!

I'm really quite excited about it, the funniest thing though was watching Brett on the phone asking Newgraham if they had it, right after he ordered a Benchmade Bali!! How manly.

Although the gadgets will probably be useful, the blade is probably be useless, but that's what my mini grip is for. the mini grip can't wait for his mate (Miss.A).

I suggest keeping a kit around with things like 550 cord, string, a fire starter, a good light (a photon light on your keyring is a start), a signaling mirror, a whistle, needles, tape, first aid equipment, etc. These would have worked better anyway and wouldn't have taken up a huge amount of space.

good point. we had most of these things, except the string and the mirror and the whistle.
miss.a is more for the super girly side of me and the "hey look what i got" factor.
i don't think it really would have helped out much, camping wise, but it was still fun to think about.

We're just both in knife-waiting mode. Everything we see until the knives arrive could be done better with our new knives. Personally, I chose not to bring my Spyderfly (only my M16 and cybertool) and I almost died from bali withdraw. At least I got some good studying in. Speaking of which, don't forget to call newgraham monday morning and make sure they could get the jaguar and miss a.
