Wanted: Photos of any small traditional knives (Case Peanut? Case Small Stockman? etc.) showing that the blade is (in theory) compliant with TSA's April 25 rule changes for legal on-board carry.

Photo of the blade with a ruler showing blade length (under 2.36 inches or 6 centimeters.)
Photo of the blade with a ruler showing blade width (no more than ½ inch at its widest point)

My Case Med and Lg Stockman are (obviously) too big to fly. My Spydercos also aren't going to fly, and I don't really want to carry a Vic Classic, so I'm looking for a classy alternate to carry.

Thanks in advance.

[edit] - No TSA rants please. Just photos (or links to photos).

Thank you my Knife Knut brother.

Yep... been there. Lots of beautiful photos, but none with the ruler showing the dimensions of the blades. There has been lots of talk of the peanut being compliant, but I've yet to see a "measured" photo. The dimensions of the blade aren't on the Case web site, nor on any other that sell the Peanut.

Search for the Cult of the Peanut thread..... that should keep you busy for awhile.....

Nevermind, here you go: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/931548-Cult-of-the-peanut-members?highlight=cult

This is my Peanut. I had to wind up placing the ruler and the tip against a box to show an accurate length, because the lens was playing tricks with parallax. Hope these help.

Thanks for doing that; hopefully that quells the concerns of the Doubting Cactus. Heh.

-- Thanks for the box trick, and your note about the "parallax." I've tried a few times recently to capture accurate lengths of given knives, and the illusion of "overhang" at the end of the ruler gives me fits.
