Why guess when we can look at a picture? We should link the names and dates of manufacture to each maker's mark.

Who goes first....

Here's some marks of some present kamis and some who have moved on.

I know I would get one with all the current kami's marks on it and I'll bet the other guys who have the 1st one and then all the new forumites would like to have on as well.
I propose that it be made a bit simpler and therefore maybe a tad less spendy. The 1st ones are beautiful, but I wouldn't mind having less detailed engraving on the back.
And perhaps both sides could be used for the kami's marks and that may permit them to be made a bit larger than the ones on the 1st one, put half of the marks on one side and the other half on the other.
I almost have to use a magnifying glass on the 1st one, actually did have too until I got my new spec's.:)

How about it guys, who would be interested in a new one?
Or in the case of all the new people here a 1st one?:)

We can put the marks and names clearly on one side, and "Himalayan Imports - BirGorkha - 2001" with decorations on the other side. I don't know what the cost would be, but if it could be kept reasonable it would make for an excellent marketing/promotional item.

I think the medallions went for $35. We could start a thread and if we get say 10 takers we'll do a run of 2001 medallions.

I'd like to have an updated medallion. I like the idea of having the marks of all the different kamis.

There's a question. Do we want a medallion that shows every kami mark that's ever been used or only the current kamis?
