Checked out the site, and it looks like a neat little pocket FB. Any one own one? Heard great things of the woo, but tanto's don't do it for me. Size and over all craftsmenship/execution comments greatly appreciated. By the way, the model number is Model #136 if people don't recognize the name.

The Bow Huntin' Buddy is made by Newt Livesay, Not Bud Nealy. The BHB is a nice knife for utility work. The kind of knife you wear on the outside while walking or working outdoors. It is finished better than Newt's more utilitarian offerings.

I agree, sounds like Newt Livesay's knife. I think it would be a great knife. 3-3.5 inches is all that you need for dressing a deer. And If I know Newts stuff, the knife is plenty stout enough to be used to split pelvis and sternum if you use a hunk of wood or whatever to drive it through. I have often thought my WOO would do fine, if I did not have the cord wrapped handle to get all soaked up with blood. Not for skinning mind you but just for field dressing. A chisel grind would never work for skinning.

Thanks, I'm a dork, and had to many names in my head. Your right on the maker issue, my bad.

Do either of you know if this is offered in a v grind? I guess I could ask that question to the man himself.

Thanks, any other experiences welcomed.
