Wanted to show off my modded hawks

Love doing more on these CS Hawks, fun hobby and a usable tool when done. All heads are nicely friction fit, base patinas are hot vinager with a cold blue design. Heads are rasped and handles trimmed, razor sharp convex edges (too sharp). Handles are burnt and buffed with hand rubbed linseed oil. Easy winter projects! Anyone else doing any Hawk mods?

May I ask how you stripped the black finish off of the heads?

I used Kleen strip, came off in 15minutes
