I have a question about BF rules, can I put up a post for a knife I would like to see if anyone has one? (I did not name the knife, this is to prove I am asking for permission first)
 
Like making a thread for people to post a knife you'd like to see?

It's done all the time on the Busse forums, I'd guess of course you can, just not sure if on the General Knife Discussion forum

Assuming that you are wanting to buy this knife, yes - the Wanted To Buy section of the Exchange is open to registered members...but you won't be able to see other threads in that section because your membership level does not allow you to sell.
 
Ok, so I am confused what I mean is I am looking for certain knife, I want to post something saying, if anyone has one up for buying? Is that only for gold members?
 
Does anyone check the Wanted knives to buy section, I have a post in their but like there are no views, Does anyone go in there? Thanks
 
Yes, but it doesn't get high a high volume of views or traffic like the other sub-forums on the Exchange here. Have a little patience....I've had a couple of successful WTBs over the last few years, including a very recent one :)
 
Alright thank you for the response, I am just really looking for one certain knife that I posted in that section, people, keep posting, let me hear what you have to to say about that section!
 
The want to buy sections are viewable only by those that have the membership to sell. Your luck is split 50/50 between fininf the item in the Exchange and the WTB area. People do look at it quite a lot. Especiall for hard to fine limited edition or special run knives and gear.

So I posted in the WTB because it said I could, is that true, do I have permission to post in there with a registered user account?
 
Maybe requesting a thread consolidation from the mods would be helpful.

Report your own post using the black triangle with the ! at the lower left of your post and ask for one. Couldn't hurt. You have a ton of threads open.

Yes, you post a thread and thread you have to hurry up and wait. It takes time for people to browse the section. If they read the title and they don't have that item to sell, there is no reason for them to open the thread to know they don't have it. Just be patient as indicated already. All good things come to those who wait. If money is no object you could try and find one on eBay or one of the hundreds of knife related groups on social media, if you into that kind of thing.
