Wanting To Start Making Knives

im going to start making knives this year sometime and have a ?

can i use one of those tabletop disc/belt sanders to grind and bevel my blade as long as i take it slow?

also do i need a scroll saw or a band saw to cut out the rough shapes
will a table top scroll saw work?

The quick answer is yes, that will work. You can use just a file to make a knife. From there, it requires more precise equipment to make better looking (and better performing) knives.
