Wants to buy Parachute Cord

Where can I purchase small rolls of parachute cord? Does it come in various guages / thicknesses? Thanks in advance!

I am sure there are some makers with better sources. But I have found it at local Army Surplus stores in various colors and thicknesses.

Army para-cord has a tensil strength of 500lb's. Hence the nick name in the Army for this as 550 Cord.

There are probably all kinds of aftermarket colors and thickness's.

When in doubt, just ask for 550 cord.

As Gus said, it's not hard to find.

Parachute cord only comes in black and green, from what I've seen. It's all the same size.
