Just FYI to anyone thinking of ordering one-- The big ring size is pretty darned big. I don't got no sissy little girlie-hands, but I sort of wish I'd ordered the small ring on mine.

I followed your advice JohnTheTexican, and got the small ring size. My hands are big but my fingers are kinda thin so I think the small ring will suit me better than the large one :thumbup:

If, after you get the knife, you think I've steered you wrong, I'd offer to trade you one of mine just like it but with the big ring. But I'd never even consider doing that outside the Exchange.

remember to give it some extra thought if you will ever wear gloves with this fighter. you will need the large for sure if using gloves.

How unwieldy do you think it can be for someone if they choose the large ring which will be kind of larger than what they thought? I have rarther large fingers but nothing close to 1.063" in diameter! I can understand that if someone with hands like mine were to use the War Boar with gloves then most likely they would need the larger one but, what if they wanted to use it without gloves?

I've handled both and I don't think the difference is too significant without gloves. I had a tough time getting my thumb through the small hole, but I also wear a size 13 on my thumb, and that's not the finger that goes in there. My index finger, which I think is a 10, fit just fine.

Thank you for your reply. So, given your fingers sizes which are similar to mine, would you rather recommend the large ring size?

i wear a large glove and the large seems to feel just fine for me with or without the glove. i don't think you want it to fit tight or snug like a ring, it should be a lil loose so it's easy on and easy off.
