I had seen that AG Russell had started this brand but this was the first traditional I had seen so this morning I decided to pick one up.

It is always a pleasure to visit with Mr. Russell which I was able to do today and my first impression of the knife is positive. Good walk and talk, the jigged bone looks nice, and it came fairly sharp. It is a bit larger than I normally carry but so far feels good in the pocket. If you are looking for an inexpensive knife that so far looks like a good value you might want to give one a try.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but do you have any updates on the performance of this knife? I've been interested in picking up one in yellow delrin, but can't decide if I should get it or save up for something else. In the catalog it looks like it has an undersized main blade compared to the handle, is that just because of the way the picture was taken?

thanks for any info

I don't find the main blade undersized but as I said I normally prefer a smaller frame so take that with a grain of salt. I still have no complaints. It is not a GEC but it is not priced as such. I've been told there will be a single blade lock back in the future for this line and I will buy it without a second thought if that gives you any indication of if I like it or not.

Sorry. I've never done picture. It is a good looking knife or I never would have made the purchase. I'm am no photographer so I'm not sure pictures I would take would be helpful in the first place.
