Got this in with some other stuff at an estate sale or gun show......some of it was military.

So this got lost for a year or two but I came across it in a box of junk and started thinking maybe it's one of those knives that soldiers made during WWII.

I just thought it was sort of an interesting home made knife.

It is indeed interesting and looks well made. Certainly looks like s theatre made knife, as you write. Somebody has put quite a few miles on the blade.

Yes, I sure wish it could talk.

After probably 75 years........it does show some wear.

I wish I new what my fam carried in WWI and II. Though I inherited guns, there were no knives.

Paternal grandfather fought in the 63rd infantry division, France WWII. Purple heart vet, injured by a mortar on the Siegfried line.

My maternal great uncle was a B-17 tail gunner in the battle of the Bismarck sea.

My maternal great-grandfather fought in Italy during WWI. I was too young to learn anything about it, plus he had a stroke before I was born.

Military stuff fascinates me.
