War Talon Surgery :)

Looks great!… nice work!
Looks like you now have a nice place to put your thumb, in reverse grip.

Just to show your pommel trim vs. orig (w/skull crusher):

I like it. But, I think I wouldn't mod mine that way. At first I though removing that tail would be good. But after playing around with it, I saw the benefits of it.

It allows you to stop the knife in a flicked open position and gives a leverage to flick it back into hand. It's one the ways karambit is used, but due to size and weight that little tail adds a lot of control.

To each their own

Like I said it works for me.

Most of the Karabits I have/own and trained with do not have the "brake" on them.

But again some like them.

I do not and it works for me.

Thank you for your insight that works for you.

looks pro level! 👍

I was gonna say I hate seeing the rear talon hole get deleted, but then I realized-- there remains a HUGE talon hole back there! 🤣

Thank you all for the kind words.

I did say I like your mod. I guess it could have been read as I like the tail part and not what you did.

And I agree most don't have that tail. I initially thought it was a skull crusher which I could do without as well.

All good, no stress here.

Different likes for different folks.
