I sketched it, sent it to Bruce Evans and he realized in steel. I don't even have this in hand yet, but the pictures are beautiful so I thought I would just share them.

As usual, Bruce is a pleasure to work with. So far, he has just been incredible in realizing the pieces that I have had in mind.

Wow, Bruce, the completed hawk looks even better. That's going to be heirloom piece.

That really is a beauty, Guys. Great work, Bruce! Sing, I can certainly understand your desire to keep it as an heirloom piece but I'm sure a little playing with it is in order.

Got back into town and found the 'hawk delivered, as promised, to my office. Made Monday easier to take.

Folks, the pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this 'hawk. The damscus pattern fits perfectly in the overall impression of the feathers of a bird. Wow!

Now, I have to find a tree to cut down to test the cutting edge out. Each piece from Bruce has been impressive, from the look to the functionality. This shouldn't be any different.
