Warden Scabbards

Also, add some tags and lanyards like I always forget to! Will there be a Tag for the AK or RK?

Scabbards showed up again and I got one - just had to changed credit cards. The store does not like my AMEX tonight for some reason.

I think it was because the requested charge was not high enough- I should fix that;)

I was getting this too, one card i was doing all my holiday shopping with just would not go though... saying address or number error, same deal,.. i figure maybe fraud protection or something?(was Amex) Anyhow, MC went right though...

Leatherman, what about the horizontal sheath? Would that style work for the thinner orange scales?

Dunno, but I'm sure willing to see what I can draw up. :) If I can get something to work on the BOSS then we may have a go at it.
 
I'm a lefty so the scabbards at the company store aren't good for me.
I'd love to get a sheath for my skeleton warden that would allow me to carry it in my front pocket like a folder.

Something like this sheath but with the clip higher up the handle so the knife disappears more into my pocket...

That is a great idea. Something I learned while carrying the Razel was that the sheath needed to be as slender as the knife, and the pocket clip has to be the slender variety, not the wide one pictured in your sheath.

Otherwise it does not ride well at all.

Yeah, the sheath and clip would definitely have to be thinner than the typical Leatherman sheath so it would be a comfortable carry. One advantage is that the skeleton Warden is nice and thin over it's entire length. It's perfect for in-pocket carry.

Well, with that sheath the handle of the knife would stick up way above the pocket. I'm really looking for a sheath that rides low enough so only the last 1/2" or so is sticking up above my pocket (just enough for me to grab). Also, I think that sheath may be a bit too thick to be comfortable in a pocket. That's just a guess, though, as I've never tried an in-pocket sheath. The clip looks perfect, however
 
The clip is definitely the size I was thinking of. I love the sheath, but I also think it will ride far too high to be comfortable in your pocket.

It will also have to be thin.

Another idea I just had is in regards to the location of the clip itself. Why does the clip have to be equidistance from each side of the sheath?

Would it not ride better if it were located closer to the edge side of the sheath for pocket carry.

There will also have to be extra leather, a fold if you will, that covers the seam of your pocket where the edge will glide by. You know how sharp that INFI is. :thumbup:
