Somewhere in a post I now cannot find, I promised to post better images of this great Bowie, once Coop did his magic on it. Here are Coop's images, which are, indeed, remarkably better than anything else previous to them.

This came to me out of a trade made at Blade 2008. Made in 1982. Enjoy.

That is so incredible, it has left me speechless!!:eek::eek::thumbup::thumbup:  :D:D:D

Thanks for the treat!
I've always liked that English pattern bowie and nobody can do one up like Buster.

I suppose I should mention the specs. Made in 1982, appeared on Aug, 1982 Blade Magazine cover. Overall length 14", 9" blade of 440-C, ebonywood scales. About the ebonywood - it looks amazingly as good as new, as does the whole package. Engraving by Buster. Sheath marked "BW ENG".

I loved this piece. It's like an ex-top-diplomat in stature.

Congrats, Bob. Thanks for allowing me to capture it!

Eye candy in deed. Beautiful knife/sheath combination.
You did good in having Coop shot that one as it allows many to enjoy it for now on into the future.

The previous owner is a friend. He, too, has seen these images and told me over the phone that after again seeing the knife in Coop's images, he already misses it and can't believe he traded off such a beautiful knife.

Coop will be doing three more vintage stunners for me and as they come in, I will be posting separate threads. Coop, part time or full time, I sure am glad you're around. What would we do without you?!
