Here's a quick update on this Warenski "ethnic" piece (purely integral), with new images from Coop. Hope you enjoy.
Carved and ground from a single block of 440-C. Seamless carving transition from blade to handle.
Buster did fewer than 5 integrals total - all during the period 2000 to 2002. A pretty cool one, this piece, IMHO. The sheath is particularly interesting in that it required much more time and effort than usual, even given the minimalist engraving treatment by Julie Warenski.
As I understand the story, Buster was going to make two of this type dagger, but never finished the second one, though the beginnings of it still remain in the safe. A hair under 12" overall, blade (handrubbed satin finish) a tiny bit under 7", handle (beadblasted) and blade from one of block of 440-C.
