this range hood was done as a tribute to andy warhol but i figure you busse boys would like it..... cheers

ok, sorry, please dont take this wrong, but I did a term paper on Warhol, and I dont get it. :confused:

i did three years working as an advisor to the warhol foundation and i get it..... lol

warhol is known for the soupcans etc, however his most well regarded works are the electric chairs and more obscure images, he did a series of knife prints, and this is a remake of one of those paintings, not a print, the actuall painting is housed in a nyc collection, its most recent value was 16 million.
 
Art... like poetry... is just one of those things I just don't 'get'. :confused::confused::confused:

My brain just doesn't work that way I guess.

That being said... I think your creation is pretty cool! Hey.. maybe I do 'get' it... :cool:
 
I like it....studies art and art history in my history studies. I like some of Andies work. I think its a cool tribute. :thumbup: and def looks like an Andy piece!

there is a guy on here that uses this print for his avatar....... the pink single knives are a great print..... i think the edition was 175 .... now retails for over 80k
