warm weather please.

well the holidays are over i say bring on the warm weather. im starting to wish mother nature worked like some of those cartoons .... spring is here out come the sun and green grass away melts the snow, instant warm. lets try that this year.
 
the temperature suddenly plummeted here in NYC starting yesterday. time to turn on the heater.

but Winter's shorter daylight makes me feel like I'm staying out later :cool: and I like that a lot.... yeah, I don't get out much :o
 
Summer has been unseasonally cold this year here, only had to fire up the air con a couple of times (yesterday was HOT though). I am a winter dweller so I say roll on the cold..!!!! But then again...our "cold" is not really the same as NE (or NW for that matter) USA.... :)
 
Yeah and Christmas didn't even seem like Christmas because it was 55 degrees and sunny. We haven't gotten anything more than a dusting of snow (2 days ago) so far this fall/winter.....deer haven't been moving like they usually do...... hell, my electric bill isn't even high.

...gonna have to disagree with ya on this one Beef....

BRING ON THE COLD AND SNOW!!!!

Beef what are you saying - its in the mid 80's thats plenty warm enough. And the only good thing about living in LA.
 
Yep. And no humidity to speak of either. Just dry, warm and clear. I believe they refer to this as Indian Summer.

Hopefully one of the Alaska Hogs can chime in here and let Beef know what cold really is.
I think Beef and I need to make the trip back up there and experience it for ourselves.
 
It was 9 when I went outside this morning. I like the cold but that just sucked.
 
I have a feeling that it is only going to get worse Beef...Bundle Up:thumbup:
 
I have my fuzzy boots and gloves ready to go! Bring on the snow! After you deal with the snow, it just means it's THAT much closer to spring :thumbup:
 
We should hit 48° F. here in Minnesota today. The only white stuff we've seen lately has been the morning frost.

It's hasn't really gotten under 50 a lot here in Louisiana this winter. It's like 60 outside right now.
 
I just wish we had snow. I don't mind the cold as much if there is lots and lots of snow to play in!
 
I am with Beef. The only acceptable times for snow are Christmas day and when I am tracking deer. Other than that it can just go away. I would be happy with sunny, a light breeze and around 72 degrees. Is that so much to ask for. I think not.

This time last year we had 3 inches of ice in the midwest. Compared to that, this year has been tropical, you guys in Ohio just complain a lot :p ;)
