I have owned a few of the Craftsman torx drivers from T-6 on up to the T-9 for quite a while. But at Sears the other day I decided to get some more so I'd have a set in my shop and my house to save me having to run to the shop everytime I wanted to make an adjustment. My shop is quite a ways from the back door and in the winter well, anyway, you get the drift.
Point is I got order numbers 45729 through 732 last time and these are great and high quality. Yesterday I bought the black 41651 through 655 series and everyone of them is off. For example the T-6 driver just spins like the screw is stripped when they get just a bit tight whereas my first one, the 45729 is rock solid and turns them further. Upon comparsion there is a naked eye difference in them, the black one being noticably smaller and not even flat on the top. Same with the others. I don't know if these are cheap China made copies or what but they are going back to Sears tomorrow morning.
Just a FYI to anyone looking at buying these. Check them close to make sure they are flat on top and that the sizes are true. All the black ones I bought the otherday are just enough undersized and off to make the screws they are supposed to turn seem like the heads are stripped.
