Warning - DHL Policy

[Nasty]

This is an example of DHL policy...the package Uncle Bill shipped to me on the 9th has been sitting an hour and a half down the road since the 10th. They have purposely been holding it since then because they want to hold their customers (Uncle Bill) hostage to their rates. Even if it arrives at the destination the next day as this one did, unless you pay them the extra cost of overnight or second day, they refuse to deliver it until the day stated.

This is nothing less than extortion...screw them!

Yes, Uncle Bill has already returned to USPS, but let this be a warning to others who might consider doing business with DHL.

That's interesting. I had airfreight do the same thing to me. They told me my road was too bad to come out but USPS, UPS, and Fed Ex were not having a problem.

My khukuri was delivered to a local DHL office last weekend. They told me that I had to wait until Wed. for delivery. I drove over there on Monday ofter work - 20 min drive (from home), but I had to wait for about 15 minutes for them to find the box.

I think that they deliver faster after they hit them with a sledge hammer.

As most know DHL was an experiment that did not work well. After they "improved" their website it quit working for me. I'd used it a week with a bookmark with no problems whatsoever until the improvement. Three calls and no help. Finally some girl called and said she could walk me thru the cleanup process so I could get it working again. I declined her offer and am back with priority mail. Find a good horse..........
