More to come later in the day. He had another rough night. I have relayed everyone's posts. He seems to rally a bit when I am reading them to him ;)

He gets the staples removed tomorrow. That should be a fun ride for him :( Hopefully once those are taken out he'll feel a bit better.

Hi Janie

Please Tell Him Dr.Bill Sends His Prayers And Carol And I Are Pulling For Him

Dr.B

Please tell him that Suzanne is praying heard for him and wishes him a speedy recovery!! I am praying for you too Janie!! When will they take the drain out?

When this over, you're going to have to drive the young girls away with a baseball bat. That's going to make one impressive 'dueling' scar! :D

Boy, that's manly!

CHICKS DIG SCARS! I am just glad he's ok. Keep us updated. My prayers continue to go out for him.

Still thinking of him, let us know if he'd like some frankestein bolts I'm sure we'll figure out something. :0

How did the staple removal session go? I've had lots of 'em removed from my leg a couple times now (got my leg and foot crushed by a boulder); getting staples pulled out of a neck would be somewhat less than enjoyable... :( I'd not be surprised if there was at least some bleeding and drainage for a bit afterwards.
I'm sure the docs have informed y'all, westllen and Mrs., but stay on the lookout for fever, increased localized redness, pain and drainage, and just a general feeling of nausea and crappiness, as those are prime indicators of infection. From my multitudinous experience, infection is par for the course with surgeries, so simply be on the lookout for symptoms.
Good luck in your continued recovery, westllen! Hang in there, both of you; this, too, shall pass
