Hello Folks!
My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of meeting Auntie Yangdu during our road trip(those weirdos she mentioned on 07/15). Auntie is one of the friendliest and most hospitable people that we have ever met. We also had the fulfillment of finally acquiring HI Khuks! The blades are beyond anything we have ever imagined and the craftsmanship on all of the blades is outstanding. These are our first Khuks, but they will definitely not be the last, as we have acquired the HI virus. Glad to finally be a BladeForum member and not a troll. Many thanks to the HI kamis and Auntie for your generous hospitality!

Our modest collection begins with (top to bottom):

12” Ang Khola
15” KLVUK
17.5” Chainpuri
20” Ang Khola
21” Ganjuwal

Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

FYI - No cure for the HIKV, we just deal with it, and get a "new prescription (acquisition)?", when needed...

Glad to have you around. That Ganjuwal is a real looker. Okay they're all lookers.

Well hello there and glad you two finally came and said hi, were a shabby bunch here but very friendly cept for that Bawanna fella:D watch him. You have a fine start there worthy of a drool or two. Enjoy them and sorry in advance for your bank account.

Ganjuwal? That's a new one on me, but I surely love the looks of it. What a beauty.

My wife and I had the honor and priviledge of an audience with Auntie summer before last when we visited Reno for the big rodeo.

Nicest lady I ever met. My wife hit it off with her almost instantly. Had one heck of a show and tell out back at the shed. Plumb full of really cool stuff at the time. Think it was right before some of the issues over in Nepal hit. Well stocked.

I anxiously look forward to visiting her again sometime soon. She's indeed quite a wonderful person.

Now myself, Pugs is probably right, want to keep a close eye on me. Questionable repute and all I reckon.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Some fine knives there and some fine folks here! Sure do like that Ganjuwal! Looks like a big tin chirra?

That is the probably best "starter set" I believe I've ever seen....and if your wife didn't kill you over spending all that money, you're definitely one lucky person.

+1 on ganjuwal -- a blade any long term collector would be proud to own-- its a beautiful sleek blade, you guys have a great start!

I think she's in on it too Bookie. They both went to visit the shack and met Aunti together! Smart man! Bawanna did the same! Cant go wrong there:D

Welcome Potentical! Congratulations on a great set of blades already, it looks like a very well balanced group with good variety. And as has been mentioned condolences on what your checkbook is going to be going through. HIKV definately IS better when both partners catch it. I compare it to eating garlic filled dishes. It is much better if you both love garlic. Plus as a woman with HIKV it is always good to hear when other women share it instead of feeling like I am totally strange LOL. Hope to see you around here now that you have been infected.

Thank you all for such a warm welcoming! We are very excited to be part of such a swanky bunch! I'll definitely be on the look out for this Bawanna fellow :D. And thanks for all of the condolences to my bank account, I think it is highly appreciative. At least my little lady is part of the gig and I won't be going broke alone ;)

Watch him pretty close, he can be slippery. Durn good looking but slippery.
