I DID warn you. Here are 2 more variations of my Raptor Pro design. THe top one has my Reptilian finished handle, which looks a bit like Jens Anso's and Busse's handle texturing but is entirely random. Bottom one has black G10 slabs with Amboyna Burl overlays. Thanks for looking. Jason.

The Burl overlay is an impressive look. Would provide comfortable grip.

The "reptilian" handles are great I have 1 of Jasons's knives with the same handle gives it a great look & very practical!

Jason, VERY WELL DONE!

I particularly like the reptillian because the red liner draws my eye.
Is there another layer between the red liner and the reptillian scale?
Nice filework and the most useable blade shape I've seen in a bit

I like the one withn the wood overlay. Unique looking and I think that the oval cross-section of the wood would make the knife fit the hand very nicely.

Any particular reason why the wood does not have the indexing holes?

Am curious about the price. Can you email me please?

The forums are back !

The Reptilian handled one has red and white liners to give contrast. I considered putting the same indexing holes into the amboyna handle but decided to keep it clean. Any more would have made it look too busy. Even without the indexing holes, all these knives fit well in the hand. The indexing hole is just a little extra. In fact, my previous such models had 4 holes. I've already cut it back to 3 holes in the handle on the Micarta handled models.
