WARNING -- Spyware!

A link to a website was posted on this forum a few days ago, in the "bi-metal blade life expectancy???" thread. If you clicked on that link before I removed it your computer is infected with some pretty nasty spyware. Go to www.ad-aware.com to get the cure -- in fact even if you didn't click on that link get the cure anyway and run it regularly; it's a good habit to get into. Ad-Aware is free and well worth taking a few minutes to run every week or so. There are all kinds of nasty things on the net these days....

Don't blame the guy who posted the link; he didn't know.

People need to become aware of spyware.

I have adaware and when I ran it on a friends puter the first time it found 179 files that were reporting back on activity.

Spyware can be just for marketing purposes or can report on your banking info.

BEWARE of spyware!!

Just remember if you have kazaa by using ad aware you can't use kazaa anymore. so download kazaa lite which doesnt require the use of ad's to keep it running
