Question for you guys. A while back I picked up this MBK EZC off the secondary market. Took me a while, but I noticed the blade seemed every so slightly warped. Is this the kind of thing that occurs during heat treat? Or is it more likely that the previous owner did something stupid with it and the blade bent? Think the strength of the blade is compromised at all?

It's really pretty subtle, so it doesn't bother me much, just more curious. Appreciate any insight!

Looks like it was stabbed into something too hard and it bent. I fixed that type of bend on a Para 3 Lightweight recently by placing the tip of the blade between two plastic cutting boards and cranking on it to bend it back.

That's not so slight. That's a fair bend, my friend.

The blade could be compromised, last owner probably did something stupid with it.

Maybe the previous owner bent it intentionally to center the blade or blade tip?

The blade appears pretty well centered in the picture.
If you visually take out the bend, the tip comes mighty close to the liner, and may actually rub.

Even if the blade is compromised, you
shouldn’t have any issues as long as you only use your knife to cut things.
