Warranty Email?

I sent an email to the warranty email address over a week ago, still no reply. It’s a minor issue I’m concerned with, but I was wondering what the timeline is for email replies, or if there’s a better way to reach out?
This isn’t a shaming thread, I just had a warranty question regarding a recent purchase. Thanks!

We try to respond to emails within 48 hours. We were behind the last couple of months but are pretty much running right there except for the weekends. What was you question maybe I can answer it
That’d be great, so I bought a new Buck 656 Pursuit (420hc) that came in a clamshell package. Once I opened it up I noticed that the green rubberized portion at the bottom is cracked (not cut, but actually cracked).
I was going to gift it to my father for his birthday but when I emailed and didn’t get a response I ended up buying another identical one that is in perfect condition, due to time constraints. I’m not necessarily bothered by the crack, it’s gonna be a user anyway.
But my question is that if I use it as is and the handle tears anymore, would that be considered under warranty? I just want to avoid any possible problems down the line because I didn’t send it in when the problem was noticed. Thank you!

That would absolutely be covered by our warranty. If you would like to send it in back to me I can get a replacement headed your way. It is something I can so my QC Manager. We get those injected molded locally and something we can bring up. If you choose to send it back please address the outside of the box FORUM so I can expedite the replacement.
