What kind of warranty can we expect from the BK&T line? It appears these knives are designed for hard use, will the warranty back this up?

Cobalt,
BK&T/CAMILLUS stand behind these products 100%. If you manage to break one, we will repair or replace it. Period.

We would however, like to hear the story

Does the breaking have to be done by hand, i.e. prying or throwing, or is testing to failure between an irresistable force and an immovable object covered?

And good luck in trying to break the Campanion. The only way I could see it breaking is if you really tried to break it.

Will, thanks for the info and that is a great warranty. It tells me that you guys really believe in your product.

Things not covered under the warranty are as follows:

1. Used for scrapping dingleberry's
2. Cutting of knife with torch.
3. Using knife to deflect 30 mm armor piercing shell.
4. Monica
5. O.J.

I'm going to see if mine will withstand a cuttin' torch. Any knife worth it's salt should, shouldn't it?

Hoodoo

The low, hoarse purr of the whirling stone—the light-press’d blade,
Diffusing, dropping, sideways-darting, in tiny showers of gold,
Sparkles from the wheel.

Walt Whitman

Hoodoo, there is only one knife in the world that can take a torch and not be affected by it. That is my Star Trek knife. It is made of pure liquid memory neutronium and has metaphasic shielding, thereby preventing heat from ever damaging it. Not even a photon torpedo can damage my knives. Oh did I mention that the liquid memory neutronium knife can change length, width and thickness at will.
