Warranty question

This might be a dumb question but just wanted to clarify. I bought a used CRK of the forums here so is the warranty still valid for me? I'm pretty sure it is, am only asking cause I was just looking at the warranty card and it states " Should this knife fail after purchase by ORIGINAL USER........".
Was just wondering since I am not the original user.

I have been told by CRK that the warranty follows the knife itself and not the original user under normal use. Mods and improper use will void the warranty or will cost you $$ for the work done.
 
I've had warranty service on knives that came to me pre-owned. No questions were ever asked. :thumbup:
