So i was processing some wood for the woodstove the other day and the tip snapped on my Maxx Duty. I sent the warranty department an email explaining the situation. My question for you guys is what are your experiences with Busse or kin warranty should i be worried about not being covered by the warranty? Also i attatched a picture of said knife.

Awesome so my next question is will i have to wait 2 weeks to get this back

I would be SHOCKED if they didn't fix up your knife for you. AS has been said, best warranty in the business.

Do not worry, You WILL be taken care of. The warranty is one of the (many) reasons these knives are worth every penny

I've never actually heard of any situation where they didn't cover a damaged blade come to think of it.

Awesome thanks for the help guy's i dont feel so bad about this situation now

Elmax blade? How do you like the elmax steel. I have a spyderco in that stuff and it holds an edge for a long time.

I absolutely love it, keeps a wicked sharp edge even after some hard use!

As others have said, you have NOTHING to worry about :)

I find myself justifying why I spend more money on quality items at least weekly to coworkers, friends, family etc., but I think Busse sets the standard.

I beat my Busse knives hard and sometimes with rage knowing its all covered one way or another. You will be taken care of 100%

If you're unhappy with your Busse replacement....just send it to me for proper disposal.

Let me know if I can be of assistance.
