Warranty question

I've sent BM an email but figured you guys who have used their CS can answer before I get a reply on Mon.
I have the opportunity to buy a BM OTF (HK) knife from a buddy relatively cheap but one of the screw holes has been stripped; will BM fix this under warranty even though it's a discontinued knife?
Also, how does a regular civilian (non LEO/military) send this in and get it back from them?

I would call CS, you'll get a faster response and they are great to deal w/..polite and professional. They will tell you directly what they might be able to do..

Would have to ship through a dealer unless you are LEO or Military.
