Just curious,,,, is this an old user?

Just hang loose a few weeks,,, I figure you are in for a huge surprise. Let us know.

I agree with Pack Rat, you are in for a wonderful surprise.... but a question that you need to ask yourself quickly... There is a chance that Buck Customer Service "may" end up replacing the knife if that is a better solution than attempting a repair. If the knife has any sentimental value to you, or your father, they will repair it and return it, rather than replace it. If the knife is already enroute to the factory, and you want the same knife returned, then I suggest you contact Joe Houser, jhouser@buckknives.com (Moderator of this forum, and Director of Cosnumer Relations for Buck) ASAP!!! He will then make sure the knife is treated according to your wishes.

Please post a follow-up when the knife is returned. I'm curious what your reaction will be... :D
