Warranty question

Hey everyone. Does anybody know if Spyderco will cover a broken clip under their warranty? Its a Delica 1st gen.

If its the FRN integral clip, they used to repair it for free. Now they charge, I believe I read $20 which is about 1/2 the price of a new one.

Even if they fix it; some might not be care for the repair. The only way to repair a broken clip on the 1st Gen is to file down the area where the clip attaches so that it is flat, then add a screw in clip.

I would buy a new one.
By the time you pay for the repair and shipping you would be getting close to the price of a new one.
