Warranty repair/replace question

Wondering if I were to send in a older 1980s 503 with micarta scales, pitted bolsters, if the knife is not repairable would they be able to use the micarta scales in place on a new knife scale instead of the current red wood? Or they would just replace without using any of the vintage parts?

If they replace the blade, that would be done with a current one . The bent blade may not be warranty, but the cost is very reasonable. Keep us posted.
