I sent my old ATS-34 Military to Golden for some repair work about a month and a half ago, and have never heard back from the good people at Spyderco. Is this kind of wait common letely? If so, no problem. Just getting a little antsy.
That's out of the ordinary, at least by my own personal experiences, since the most I've waited for my Spydies is a little over a week after they've received my knives.
As calyth suggested, you should call Mike at Warranty and Repair(800-525-7770, ext. 255) and find out the situation with your Spydie. I'm sure that you don't have to worry, because you WILL be well taken care of.
There was a similar problem at one time that was posted on BF. Do a search keyword lost gunting, or something around that. I can't exactly remember what thread it was under because it was a while ago...
But basically it turned out they were very customer friendly(?) sounded like they went out of their way to get to the bottom of the mishap and solve it one way or another. Very classy
Hey guys - thanx for the ph. # and words of encouragement! I sent in a Centofante quite a while back, and Mike took care of it promptly and went overboard (IMO) to please. Upon reflection, I guess my main concern is the USPS. Gladly, I DID insure it. So I'll call'em and let y'all know how it turns out. Thanx again!
I KNEW I should have waited longer to post, but I really missed not having a Millie in my EDC rotation. The brown truck pulled into my drive yesterday afternoon, and, well, suffice it to say, I am thrilled! Thanks a bunch to Mike and Spyderco for fantastic CS, and please forgive me for being a little impatient.
