Warranty return shipping method?

Hi,
Unfortunately, last week I had to send in my 0350 for some warranty service. I checked the mailbox today and there is nothing yet. Then it hit me that I don't know how they ship the knives back to the owners so I was wondering what carrier they use for return shipping.

1. are you sure they got it?
2. have you spoken to them about your knife since they got it? it may be in a line of work to be done.
3. they would probably send it insured. I got mine in a post office priority mail box.
 
Let me clarify that I'm not concerned about the wait time. I'm just wondering which carrier they use to ship, and I think you indirectly answered my question in number 3.
 
Expecting your knife to be back in a week is where you went wrong. For me it usually takes between 2-6 weeks. They won't call/email you.

They ship back with UPS.
 
I don't expect it back yet nor am I concerned with the wait time! Jeebus! I'm just checking the mail box (as I do every day especially when something awesome is coming) and wondering to myself if they use USPS or UPS or Fedex!
 
I ship to KAI using USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation and a nice letter with my request.

After sharpening 2 knives and 2-3 weeks I got mine back via UPS ground, I am in SoCal.

Kershaw will send any and all ZTs back via UPS, unless the address you give them is a P.O.BOX. And while their website says "4 - 6 weeks," ZT (and Shun, if you wanted to know) are always done faster. But go ahead and give them a call to see if it is in.
 
UPS ground it is... Now I know I need to leave the gate open till it shows up....

And if you just have to keep checking for toys in the mail buy some more! Then you will be expecting more often!

I am expecting a holster for my 551 now.
